We recommend that all homes have fire extinguishers readily available for use in case of a fire.  The most universal type is a class “ABC” as this is designed for the most common types of fires:  

We conduct plan review and inspections of all new and remodel commercial building projects within the district for compliance with adopted fire code.  This includes:  site-plans, construction plans, fire sprinkler plans, and fire detection & notification systems.  

In 2020 NFPD lowered it's ISO rating to a Class 4 throughout it's entire service area.. This represents a very significant improvemt not only just for Town, but a dramtic improvment in our unhydranted areas. This improvement is the result of years of commitment in developing water tender shuttles and improved tender fill sites and cisterms.
