Currently, NFPD does not accept construction permit applications directly, permits must be submitted to the Town of Nederland (in town) or Boulder County (within District boundaries) who will then submit construction documents to our department. Operational permit requests may be submitted to permits@nederlandfire.org.
Currently adopted code for NFPD is 2018 International Fire Code (IFC) however, applicants must adhere to ammendments and code editions for the Town and/or County when applying for permits.
Nederland Fire Protection District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
