Tim Hohnbaum

Position: Wildland Coordinator
The image is a badge for Nederland, Colorado Fire-Rescue, established in 1913, featuring symbols of firefighting and emergency services.

Originally from Sherwood, OR, Tim moved to Oak Creek, CO four years ago to join their fire department as the Wildland Captain before recently being hired with Nederland.

He has been a firefighter for 14 years with an extensive resume in wildland firefighting including engine boss, crew boss, incident commander and prescribed fire burn boss which has taken him on wildfire assignments throughout the nation.

Tim is excited about being at NFPD to have the opportunity to build a wildland division and help the community out with mitigation projects. He enjoys a smaller department; NFPD has a fire family vibe which was another draw to joining NFPD.
