Lucy is very excited to be joining the Nederland Fire Protection District team and welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the organization and Human Resources goals!
Lucy has been in Human Resources for 10+ years. Before joining the fire service community, she worked for small and midsized organizations in various industries such as glass manufacturing, construction, food manufacturing and the medical field. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and is a Certified Professional by SHRM. Lucy brings a sincere passion for HR and cannot imagine herself doing anything else.
When not working, Lucy enjoys reading, running and most of all, spending time with her husband and two young boys ages 7 and 8.
