Fire Marshal Joslin began his firefighter career as a Volunteer with Nederland Fire in 2015, promoted to Lieutenant in 2021, and hired as Fire Marshal in 2022. Andrew obtained his EMT accredidation from St. Anthony Hospital in 2018. He has a passion for firefighting and community service; when he's not at the station you can find him camping or adventuring with his wife and two kids who attend Nederland Elementary School.
Andrew has been the recipient of several awards during his service including Rookie of The Year (2016), Wingman Responder (2017, 2018, 2019), Best Trained (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), Outstanding Customer Care (2019), Life Saving Award (2016, 2021 x2), Above and Beyond (2023), and an Award for Valor (2018).
