Henry ZurBRUGG

District Chairman / President

Chairman Zurbrugg joined the Department in 2002 as a volunteer firefighter, subsequently he completed EMT-B training in May of 2003. He chose to contribute at a higher level and was ultimately elected as a District Board member and then designated as Board President. Zurbrugg has the unique insight of having functioned as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT while bringing his astute business and managerial sense to various District issues.    

Larry Stern

District Vice-President

Stern is the former Chairman of the District and has been on the District Board since 1994. Stern retired from the City of Boulder Fire Department and the Boulder County Sherriff's Department. He is the former emergency manager for the City and County of Boulder, Colorado. 

John Seifert

Treasurer

Seifert joined the District as a volunteer firefighter in 1999.  He later was elected to the Board of Directors. He is previously a law enforcement officer for the Town of Nederland and currently works for Boulder County Sherriff's Department. Prior to law enforcement he was CEO of a retail merchandise chain and brings considerable business management background to the District.

Eleanor Yeager

Board Member

Yeager is a real estate professional who has worked in the Nederland area for over 20 years. She was elected to the Board in 2002. Yeager provides perspective on services to our community and the Fire Department's effect on insurance premiums and property values.

JoE EVANS

Secretary

Evans is a long time Nederland Veterinarian. He was one of the initial Board members who helped form the District in 1990. He later was re-elected to the District Board and brings considerable perspective on our organization in relation to our activities within the community.
